How To Store?
To maximize the shelf life of sourdough bread, follow these storage tips:
Room Temperature (2-3days):
Paper Bag: Store the bread in a paper bag or wrapped in a kitchen towel. This allows the bread to breathe, keeping the crust crisp while preventing mold.
Bread Box: Place the bread in a bread box to maintain a balanced environment, protecting it from excess moisture and air.
Freezing (at least 2 weeks):
Wrap Properly: Slice the bread before freezing if you plan to consume it in portions. Wrap the whole loaf or slices tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil to prevent freezer burn.
Freezer Bags: Place the wrapped bread in a resealable freezer bag. Remove as much air as possible before sealing.
